Admission Requirements Budapest, 15 - 28 April 2018 Warsaw, 13 - 26 May 2018 Shanghai, 9 - 20 July 2018 Those    who    apply    for    the    LL.M.    in    Transnational Commercial   Practice   must   hold   a   recognized   first degree   in   law   and   have   a   demonstrated   record   of academic     and     professional     competence.     Non- native     speakers     of     English     must     demonstrate competence in the language. Budapest, 17 - 30  June 2018 Applicants    must    have    completed    at    least    one session   in   Budapest   or   Warsaw   in   the   same   or   a previous     year.     The     Budapest     June     session     is conducted    by    Boston    University    School    of    Law. Lazarski   University   will   accept   up   to   nine   credits from   the   Boston   University   Budapest   program   in satisfaction    of    its    degree    requirements.    Because Boston     University     tuition     is     approximately     US $1,800    per    credit,    the    Center    for    International Legal   Studies   will   provide   partial   scholarships   to those   admitted   to   assure   that   June   tuition   does   not exceed    the    usual    Lazarski    rate    of    US    $600    per credit.   Nominations   are   made   by   the   Center   for International   Legal   Studies,   but   the   final   decision for   admission   to   the   June   session   rests   with   Boston University. Admission with Advanced Standing Six    to    12    credits    may    be    transferred    from    a relevant     LL.M.     degree     program     (such     as     in Business,    Banking,    Finance,    Intellectual    Property, International   Trade,   and   Tax).   Up   to   nine   credits may    be    transferred    from    degree    programs    not directly    relevant    to    the    LL.M.    in    Transnational Commercial    Practice    (such    as    in    American    Law, Comparative       Law,       International       Law,       and Environmental   Law).   The   transfer   fee   is   US   $100 per   credit.   Transfer   of   six   credits   means   that   two sessions     in     Budapest     and/or     Warsaw,     plus     a session    in    Shanghai    (3    credits)    or    a    distance- learning   component   (3   credits),   must   be   completed to   obtain   the   Lazarski   University   LL.M.   Transfer   of nine   credits   means   that   two   sessions   in   Budapest and/or   Warsaw   (6   credits   each)   must   be   completed to   obtain   the   Lazarski   University   LL.M.   Transfer   of 12   credits   means   that   one   session   in   Budapest   or Warsaw    (6    credits),    plus    a    session    Shanghai    (3 credits),     or     a     distance-learning     component     (3 credits)   must   be   completed   to   obtain   the   Lazarski University LL.M.
